Again With The Global Warming...

In my opinion, global warming is truly the result of the massive strain that the ever increasing global population is putting on the earth. There is a causative relation between the booming population, the subsequent demand for resources, and the warming of the planet that simply cannot be halted. This is especially true since the topic of population control is such a sensitive issue in various sectors of the societal structure (e.g. Religion, government, medicine, and war).

My perception of irrevocable doom in regards to the warming planet does not make me any less of an advocate for those initiatives directed at addressing the issue. This is because I believe that the ideals behind the work to stop global warming are fundamentally good and necessary for society to pursue as a collective.

We have a true global rallying point in this issue. The topic of Global warming, and the belief that we can save ourselves from it, contains within it an element that society as a whole needs very badly at this time in our history: faith.

So what explains the drop in temperature between 1940 and 1970 during boom years for emissions and population?

Which region of the world are you referring to?

What needs to be understood is that while various regions of the world may see yearly variations in rise and fall of average temperatures, the general trend over time has consistently been for temperatures to move on an upward slope. This has been noticed in particular since the time of the industrial revolution. Similar to the stock market in many ways.

I don't personally have the time this month to research this for you. You can be skeptical, but ultimately, the planet is gradually getting warmer, and there's not an argument that you can make that will change that.

If you require scientific proof, just google search 'global climate trends charts' and take a look at the variety of studies that exist on the issue.

Or, for harder evidence, please note the fact that a four mile wide sheet of the Antarctic ice shelf just broke off last week, and is now melting in the ocean.

It's only a matter of time before ocean levels begin to rise significantly causing the mass evacuation of millions of people suffering under widespread hunger, famine, and despair in a world that can neither accept them as refugees or provide them with necessary aid.

Finally, if you are too full of yourself to comment here without representing who it is that you are, then don't bother.
